Day before submission

Soundscape was added, quite a last minute addition, it’s always the case with my films that things fall more into place as we explore + approach the end.

I fiddled around rewiring/ reworking some of my dads recorded cassettes accompanied with our recorded conversations from his journal. I had him play/ alter them aloud. After a play these were pulled through various tempos + speed waves leaving me with quite a alien esque murmur - syncs beautifully with the whole genderless aspect of my work.

Some issues followed with exporting - software has fallen down a rabbit hole

of removing somewhat vital segments from the film as I move to my usb. A repeated + stressful process of cautious rearranging.

Evaluated the ending of this project, a lot of excitement to see it be showcased.
